Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups sugar
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1 12 oz package (3cups) fresh cranberries
- Two medium pears, cores, and cubed
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- One cinnamon stick
The Build
- Add sugar and water to a saucepan over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- Boil uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Add cranberries, pears, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon stick, mix, and return to boil.
- Continue to boil, stirring occasionally, until cranberry skins pop, 3-4 minutes.
