Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients

  • Two Red Oions
  • 1 cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1tbps brack pepper corns

The Build

  1. Slice 2 red onions thin, using a mandolin
  2. Place sliced onions into the pickling jars.
  3. In a saucepan, mix together Water, Red wine vinegar, Sugar, Salt, pepper corns.
  4. Bring to a boil and stir unto the suger and salt are disolved.
  5. Pour mixture over the onions, lid and place in refridgerator.

Optional

For a slightly spicier option, add 1-2 seeded jalapenos.
